Based on a virtual tour of multiple societies the world over; From Netherlands to Ethiopia, we uncover facts about the flower industry; capped with an ‘11 day’ participatory & exploratory tour of Ethiopia by ‘Travel-Learn’ Participants

Floriculture is under the broader Horticulture Industry. Across the globe, flowers are used as Air Cleaners, Aromatherapy, Radiation Absorption, Food, Security, Party Theme & Decors, Clothing and Jewellery etc.

Travel -Learn participants look at the flourishing growth of floriculture in different societies, what flowers mean to which society, to what extent etc. Ethiopia is chosen for a final activity venue based on the fact that it is now the second-largest flower exporter in Africa, with over 100 flower growers on 1,700 hectares (17 000 000 square meters or 182,986,477 square feet).
